Lifespan Therapy is currently an in-network provider with most major medical insurances
—but if you’d rather skip the red tape, Lifespan Therapy also offers a self-pay option. Self-pay allows therapy to begin sooner, with fewer restrictions and more flexibility in care planning.
A superbill can be provided upon request for self-pay services and may help with insurance reimbursement depending on your plan. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and is determined by your insurance provider.

Self-pay Speech Therapy
$85/standard session
*30 minute session tailored to each client's individual needs.
$135/extended session
*45-minute session tailored to each client's individual needs.
$180/extended session
*60-minute session tailored to each client's individual needs.
**Typical plan of care recommendations are for therapy to be held 2x/week for consistency to gain functional progress, but increased frequency may be recommended depending on the severity of function.
Consultations $50/visit
* 25-minute coaching session. An alternative for those just looking for guidance.

Re-Assessments
Periodic reassessments are completed to measure progress, update treatment goals, and ensure continued services remain appropriate. They are also required for insurance patients at applicable intervals to maintain documentation and billing compliance.
Insurance: Reassessments are billed to insurance and may have a different out-of-pocket cost than a regular treatment session based on your individual plan and benefits. Your final responsibility is determined by your individual insurance plan and may vary based on your deductible, coinsurance, copay, and other plan-specific benefits. Lifespan Therapy cannot guarantee the amount assigned to patient responsibility until the claim has been processed by your insurance carrier.
Self-Pay: A $50 reassessment fee applies and is separate from the regular treatment session fee.

Good Faith Estimates
Beginning January 1, 2022, if you’re uninsured or if you opt for self-pay (i.e., not going through your health insurance), health care providers must provide you with an estimate of the expected charges. This is called a good faith estimate (GFE).
Providers and facilities must provide you with a GFE if you request one, or after you’ve scheduled a service. It should include the expected charges for all items or services that are provided as part of the same scheduled experience. The provider must provide a list of all items and services associated with your care.
